Zion Ordo Covers

Several years ago Zion began a project of creating individual Ordo covers for each Sunday and major Feast of the Church Year based on the Historic Lectionary. Each of the covers was carefully chosen so that the graphic on the front panel highlights the appointed Gospel Reading or theme of the day.

The art selected for the covers is taken from many different countries and periods, with an affinity for medieval, Renaissance and Reformation art. The descriptions of the art on the back of the covers have been researched carefully, and to the best of our knowledge rightly explain and credit the art to the appropriate artist, gallery or church building. To our knowledge, all of the art used is in the public domain and can be freely distributed. If you learn otherwise, let us know, and we will take the cover down and replace it.

Zion follows the Historic Lectionary. If there is an Ordo cover that is not listed here, please contact the church office and we will upload it.

These Ordo covers are provided to be distributed free of charge, for the good of the Church, to the glory of God. They are available here in PDF format. Please contact the church office for editable Publisher File versions.
